Lenticular Fashion

The lenticular is applicable to almost all formats and objects, as we know. Today we will focus on the fashion world, because, the lenticular has also broken in this sector and created really wonderful pieces.

The lenticular applied to fashion gives a technological and futuristic touch to the garment or accessory that is applied to.

We have seen it in films like 'Back to the Future', applied to Marty Macfly's cap. Who does not want his cap and sneakers?

But the lenticular has finally reached both Fashion Show and the world's streets.

In 2014, in his Autumn / Winter collection, the 32 years old Scottish designer, Christopher Kane, launched a fashion line with lenticular applications. Skirts, dresses, shoes and bags with lenticular details brightened this designer on the catwalk at London Fashion Week. Not surprisingly, he was awarded the British Fashion Award the year before. Donatella Versace made a statement about comparing him to her brother.

Here you can see part of this fabulous collection that uses lenticular floral elements applied in different fashion pieces.

But not only this designer has opted for the lenticular to create their designs.

Two years ago the exclusive fashion brand Lanvin Paris, launched a series of accessories for men also made in lenticular material, being remarkable for its design and originality, men's shoes. This line was focused to modern men who don't care established standards, enjoying and having fun with their beauty, who is not afraid to try, mixing trends and succeed.

The sports brands like Adidas and Nike have also opted for the lenticular material to perform part of their collections. Here we see some of those collections.

Next week we will bring you more lenticular fashion, namely a project that has run through the networks and the world.
