Cinemagraph: A new lenticular application

Cinemagraph: A new lenticular application

Two years ago, a newyorker photographer, Jemie Beck, and a web designer, Kevin Burg, had a crazy and brilliant idea: mixing the motion images, known in the network like animated gift, with a static image so the result was a new animation concept. This effect was named as Cinemagraph.

That revolutionary idea became into a format that is in the middle way between the video and the photography, that has travelled around the world because of its big expressive capacity, capturing the instant and the movement in an only space.

The prestigious Fashion Week of New York was the first stage for this experiment and its run into success and up to now the cinemagraph is already imitated and developed by thousands of agencies of communication and advertising all around the world to reach shoking and absolutely innovative campaigns.

There was only a problem in this big discovery: Its application was limited to the audivisual format, to the screen of television or of computer.

However, in 3D Lenticular Factory, we have attained to move this type of images of big realism and creativity to the world of the physical support. Everything thanks to the lenticular technology.

This method allows us move images so effective like and carry them to big mupis, flyers, cards, big billboards and any physical support that can imagine.

The big advantage of transferring the cinemagraf to the physical support with lenticular is that it becomes an interactive product because it allows to appreciate the distinct movements from the image so the receptor has to move in front of it in the case of the big formats or move the product with the hand one side to the other side in case of the small formats.

Folling this way you can obtain a marketing product realised into a Lenticular Cinemagraf and it turns into a surprising game for the public that will not be able to resist to check the movements once again.

3D Lenticular Factory can reproduce a Cinemagraf already existing into a lenticular format and also can make it possible with the original artwork received from customers.

For this purpose we only need a video or a sequence of images realised with tripod in burst mode so we can work with frames to achieve a lenticular image in order to convert this motion into a marketing physical product.

What are you waiting to test it? You can contact contact with our commercial team should you need any tecnical doubt or if you need any general information. You can produce your advertising campaign with more movement and effectiveness that never!
